Brownell Talbot Earns Top Rankings in Local and National Education Awards

Brownell Talbot has been recognized with multiple prestigious awards, solidifying its position as one of the region's and nation's leading educational institutions.

The school earned top honors in the 2026 Best of Omaha awards, including its ninth consecutive year as Best Private Elementary School, third straight year as Best Private High School, and first-time recognition as Best Preschool for its Early Years program.

Brownell Talbot's excellence extends to national rankings on Niche.com, where the school has maintained impressive standing for multiple consecutive years. The school ranks in the top 8 percent of private schools in the United States for both K-12 and high school programs, and in the top 10 percent for college prep. Its STEM program places in the top 8 percent nationally when measured against both private and public schools.

One where intellectual curiosity thrives, where students feel safe to take risks, and where learning extends far beyond textbooks," said Kristi N. Gibbs, Ed.D., Head of School. "They are a testament to our extraordinary faculty and staff, and to the trust families place in us with their children's education."

The school community will celebrate these achievements with a special out-of-uniform day on Friday, November 7, and commemorative T-shirts for all students.
