Brownell Talbot summer camps are open to the public and offer something for every child from preschool to grade 8. Campers will make lifelong friends while tackling daily challenges, hands-on activities, lessons, and art and theatre projects. The friendships they make and their close bonds with their counselors encourage every camper to try new things with confidence in a supportive environment. With programs focused on STEM, fine arts, leadership, sports, and future readiness, we have something for everyone. When summer ends, campers leave with sweet memories and new experiences that last a lifetime!

Goal and Philosophy
Our goal is to enrich the lives of our campers by providing opportunities that will challenge and push them to continue their quest for lifelong learning. Camp Discovery values integrity, self-discipline, and each camper’s inherent dignity. Campers are encouraged to have fun while being curious to try new things in an environment that values self-worth and a lasting connection to our community. Campers and staff should experience a sense of independence, feelings of accomplishment and self worth, and an overall sense of belonging. This is accomplished by knowing, inspiring, and challenging every camper.

BT Beyond is your child's passport to extracurricular and academic opportunities outside of the traditional school day that inspire new passions and build on their knowledge. Through BT Beyond, you can find more information and register for programs like youth sports, extended care, enrichment programs, seasonal camps, swimming, and for-credit summer courses.
Preschool day camp operates from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm daily (with morning and after care available) and includes a variety of activities to meet the interests of our campers, as well as challenge them. All camps are cross-curricular and include literacy, science, math, art, and a rest period.
- Our preschool camps are run by Brownell Talbot staff who dedicate themselves to our students year-round.
- Camps will be held in our brand-new Lower School educational wing!
- All preschool-aged children must be toilet-trained.
- Campers must be at least 3 years old by May 31, 2026.
- Two sections of preschool camps will be offered if needed.
June 8-12
Preschool Tricera-tots Camp
Prepare for the prehistoric, as we work to understand the roar-some world of dinosaurs. Campers will get hands-on STEM and creative experience, centered around all things dinosaurs. Both indoors and outdoors, with plenty of time to rest and recharge; we will enjoy snack time, story time, and tons of excitement. From dinosaur eggs to fossils, join us for a t-rexcellent week of learning and fun.

Preschool Everyday Heroes Adventure Camp!
Four-day camp!
Clock in to work, learning about the professions that keep our world going strong! Campers will discover fascinating information about the important careers we look up to through hands-on activities, crafts, and playful exploration about careers from firefighting, nursing, police work, and more. Each day, we'll blend adventure with learning, enjoying time to rest, recharge, and fuel up to learn about possible career paths and what we want to be when we grow up! Get ready for a week of fun, curiosity, and making new plans about what we want to be when we grow up! Please note, this is a four-day camp due to the Juneteenth holiday.

Preschool Rain-or-Shine Camp
Hop on in for a journey through the weather cycle and seasons. Campers will learn and experience how natural phenomena, from rain to snow to clouds or sunshine occur, through imaginative play and hands-on scientific activities. Each day, we'll blend adventure with learning, enjoying time to rest, recharge, and fuel up to learn about meteorology and what that means. Join us for a week of weather-filled fun, scientific exploration, and an unforgettable adventure through nature!

Preschool Little Sprouts Camp
Shrink on down to explore bugs, plants, and wonders of the garden as we discover the amazing things present in the average garden. Campers will learn about plants and insects through hands-on activities and outdoor play. Each day, we’ll meld curiosity and creativity with time to rest, have a snack, and listen to stories about the natural world. Join us for a week of exploring all the tiny marvels that make gardens grow!

Preschool Ocean Adventure Camp
Dive into the wonders of the underwater world, as we learn about the creatures and ecosystems of the ocean. Campers will learn about marine habitats from coral reefs to kelp forests, to seagrass meadows and more, and those sea creatures who inhabit them through exciting hands-on activities, outdoor play, and ocean-inspired art projects. Each day, we’ll splash into adventure with time to rest, enjoy snacks, and learn all about the creatures that call the ocean home. Join us for a week of sand-sational activities and sea-inspired fun!

Preschool Wild Ones Camp Camp
Jump into the wild as we journey through the landscapes of faraway lands! This week, campers will explore the wonders of the wild, learning about amazing animals, unique habitats, and the beauty of nature through hands-on activities and outdoor play. Each day brings a mix of exploration and discovery, with time for snacks, rest, and captivating stories from the worlds of the rainforest and savannah. Get ready for an un-furgettable exploration of the wild!
