Step 2: Complete the Application- Student Questionnaire - short and long form essay questions (grades 5-12)
- Parent Questionnaire (all grades)
- Transcripts/Grade Records.
- Not required for Early Years/kindergarten.
- Applicants for grade 1 only need to submit their kindergarten grade reports.
- Applicants for grades 5-12 submit transcripts/grade reports for the current school year to date and for the previous school year.
- Teacher Recommendations.
- Applicants for Early Years - grade 4 need to provide the name and email address of a current classroom teacher.
- Applicants for grades 5-12 need to provide the names and email addresses of current math and English teachers.
- Applicant photo.
- Application fee of $130.
Step 3: Schedule Assessments- Applicants for Early Years and kindergarten will participate in a readiness assessment and a family interview with BT’s Asst. Head of Academics.
- Applicants for grades 1-4 will take an entrance exam and families will participate in a family interview with BT’s Asst. Head of Academics.
- Applicants for grades 5-12 will take an entrance exam.
Step 4: Experience BT!Step 4: Participate in BT’s shadow day program, Raider for a Day.

What to Expect
Once we have an understanding of your family’s needs, we will pair you with an enrollment director who will be your main point of contact throughout the inquiry and application process. They can answer your specific questions and connect you to other members of the BT community to learn more. Your enrollment director will provide personalized tours of the school, arrange for your child to shadow in the classroom with peer students, and ensure you are aware of upcoming community activities that will help you make an informed decision about your child’s future school.
We will also use this time to learn about you. What does your family value in an educational partner? What are your priorities for your child’s growth and development? What are their passions, interests, and concerns?
