Check out the menu! Monthly menus will be posted prior to the start of each month. Menus rotate seasonally and the most popular items may be repeated more frequently than others. The menu includes a daily vegetarian option, which may be a variation of or the same as another entree item, and is clearly identified on the menu. For your ease and convenience, the menu is organized in a manner such that it easily lines up with our pre-ordering system, EZ School Lunch.

There are three options to choose from:
Option 1 - purchase a meal plan: provides your child with a combo meal every day. This plan offers savings over daily combo meal and a la carte options. No Risk Trial Period: Within the first two weeks of the school year, you may cancel your registration by emailing [email protected]. Any charges made during that two-week period will be adjusted to the daily rate. The No Risk Trial Period does not apply to second semester meal plan purchases.
There are two meal plan payment options:
- Single payment due September 10, 2023, for first semester or annual plans.
- For second semester meal plans, the single payment is due February 10, 2024.
- Monthly payments from September 10 to May 10, 2024 (or February - May for second semester plan).
Option 2 - daily combo meal: this is a fixed format lunch consisting of an entree, two sides, a drink, and a sweet treat on select days. Similar to many restaurant options, this saves you a bit by bundling items together. This is a good choice for students who know they will only partake in BT lunch four or fewer days per week or who want more flexibility because you are charged the daily combo rate based on the student’s usage.

Why is the Lower School lunch a lower price than Middle/Upper School lunch?
The lower price is a result of smaller, more appropriate portion sizes for BT's younger students.
Can my child add on additional items or go back for seconds?
Yes, students can add additional items and go back for seconds.
Are there meal plan refunds if my child misses school?
No, days missed on a meal plan will not be refunded because the pricing structure factors in several absences or opting out of a day's lunch.
In the event that lunch service is interrupted for the entire school for an extended period due to COVID-19, refunds will be communicated based on the circumstances of the interruption.
Can I purchase one meal plan and have my children share it?
Meal plan purchases are per student and not transferable to any other students/family members.
Do I have to preorder my child's lunch?
Early Years and kindergarten families are required to preorder lunch using EZ School Lunch for their child if they wish to purchase from Flik.
How often is the sweet treat available? Does it cost extra?
Sweet treats are offered once a week as part of the combo meal and are included in the combo meal price. The sweet treat can also be purchased as an individual item (a la carte pricing) for someone not ordering a combo meal.
How do I track my child's a la carte purchases? How will I be billed for them?
Purchases made to a student's account at the cash register can be viewed at any time using EZ School Lunch.
All prepaid meal plans and incidental dining charges will be billed and collected through your FACTS account. The billing cutoff is the 26th of each month and invoicing is due the 10th of the following month.
Please note, the cash balance on EZ School Lunch is for visibility/tracking purposes and preorder only. You do NOT need to set up a student balance in EZ School Lunch - we are NOT using this system to track or collect funds because FACTS billing is significantly more efficient and has lower credit card and ACH fees.
What does the combo meal include?
Are there any guidelines or restrictions for packed lunches?
- All food items must be self-contained, easy to open without teacher assistance, and nut-free. To keep sticky spills to a minimum, no fruit cups, yogurt tubes, or sugary drinks are allowed in Lower School.
- To minimize spill risks, please send your child to school with a reusable water bottle pre-filled with their name on it. Filling stations are available throughout campus for easy refills. Water bottles are to be brought home by the student each day for cleaning.
- No refrigerators are available for student use.
- Students are not permitted to have outside food orders delivered to campus.
Are snacks provided in Early Years or kindergarten?
Light morning and afternoon snacks are provided for Early Years and kindergarten students.
