College Counseling

The Best Decisions Start with the Right Foundation

College planning is an integral part of Brownell Talbot's academic curriculum. Our students attend college counseling seminar courses starting in eighth grade. In Upper School, students meet with the college counselor in regularly scheduled small groups to discuss topics appropriate to the student's needs at each grade level.

Over 100 hours of college counseling classroom instruction is offered throughout a student's time at Brownell Talbot. Our specially designed curriculum allows each student to take full advantage of the educational, extracurricular, and personal opportunities available to them. With solid college counseling, our students stay engaged and enthusiastic about the college research process, and they feel prepared to make informed choices when it comes to choosing the right school.
