Chapel

Our Chapel Program is designed to foster the spiritual and moral growth of our students. While the service follows an Episcopal Christian format emerging from Brownell Talbot's original charter as an Episcopal School for girls, the beliefs of all students and faculty are respected. Students are encouraged to learn, question, and explore their beliefs and the beliefs of their classmates in a safe and respectful environment.

The Lower School Chapel service regularly gives young people the opportunity to perform musically, as well as practice reading in public. It is a high-energy service designed for younger students.

The Middle and Upper School services are designed to speak to many of the moral and ethical dilemmas students will face as they become adults. Five times a year, the Middle and Upper School services are combined for Exploratory Chapel, where students lead presentations about a variety of religious traditions.
