Activities
Opportunities of All Kinds, for All Students
Featured Program: Robotics
Brownell Talbot offers competitive robotics for students in grades 6 through 12. We also have an introductory class for fifth graders. While in the program, students design, build, and program the robots all by themselves and record all information in an engineering logbook. The main purpose of robotics is to give students real experiences in the engineering field through competitive challenges.
Middle School teams meet three times per week after school, and high school teams meet every day after school starting in September and culminating in April with the World Championships. In addition, we participate in VRC Vex Robotics Competitions in Nebraska, Iowa, and Missouri, as well as National and International competitions, each year.
