Athletic Opportunities for Students Age 3 through Grade 6

Brownell Talbot Youth Sports Organization (BTYSO) is a school-run organization that provides team sports opportunities for students age 3 through grade 6. Available team sports include soccer, basketball, volleyball, and flag football.

 

BTYSO goals include:

  • Creating an opportunity to learn to play team sports in a way that builds skill, confidence, and good sportsmanship.
  • Providing an opportunity for the development of every player, regardless of ability, while providing a fun experience.
  • Building good sportsmanship and a positive attitudes in players, coaches, and parents.
  • Providing coach-training opportunities and encourage coaches to learn coaching skills and techniques appropriate for each level of play.

BTYSO programs are focused on three important principles: fun, personal development, and skill development.

Spring Baseball and Softball

BT students in kindergarten - grade 8 have the opportunity to play baseball or softball this spring in the Memorial Little League.

Important Dates for the 2023 Season:

  • January 16 online registration opens
  • February 26 online registration closes
  • Mid-April season will begin
