Mighty Kickers Coed Soccer, Ages 3 and 4

Instructional league that introduces children (ages 3-4), to the fundamentals of the sport. Kids focus on the value of sportsmanship and healthy competition. League format includes 30 minutes of drills and skills followed by 30 minutes of game play led by volunteer coaches. Practices and games take place within one hour on Saturdays. Practice and game times vary between 8:30 am - 4:30 pm based on number of children enrolled. Games are held every Saturday starting August 24 through early October. .

  • Registration fee: $85.
  • Children cannot turn 5 years old before August 24.
  • Games will be played at Maple Street YMCA, 74th & Maple Street.
  • BT will provide jerseys free of charge. Players must provide their own cleats, shorts, socks, and shin guards.
  • Shin guards must be worn at games and practices.
  • Teams will be formed based on the number of registrations received.

Form

Coed Soccer, Kindergarten

League format includes 20-25 minutes of practice, followed by a game led by volunteer coaches. Preseason practices may be held and once the season starts, practices and games take place within one hour on Saturdays. Practice and game times vary between 8:30 am - 4:30 pm based on number of children enrolled. Games will take place every Saturday starting August 24 through October.

  • Registration fee: $85.
  • Leagues is for five year olds and students currently enrolled in kindergarten.
  • Games will be played at Maple Street YMCA, 74th & Maple Street.
  • BT will provide jerseys free of charge. Players must provide their own cleats, shorts, socks, and shin guards.
  • Shin guards must be worn at games and practices.

Girls Soccer, Grades 1 and 2

Brownell Talbot will participate in the YMCA Soccer Rec League.

  • Registration fee: $85.
  • Soccer practices begin in August and are held at BT one day per week as determined by the coach. Team members are required to be at all practices unless you have prior approval from your coach to miss. Additional practice info will be sent to all families in early August.
  • A uniform top is provided for all participants who register. Players must provide cleats, shorts, socks, and shin guards.
  • Shin guards and socks are required.
  • Every student is guaranteed a spot on the team if they register before the deadline.
  • Teams are formed based on the number of registrations received.

BT participates in the Omaha Suburban Athletic Association (OSAA) recreational league. Recreational division features eight games per season plus one practice each week. Volunteer coaches focus on fundamentals and new skill development. All players will play at least 50 percent of the time. Games begin on August 17 and end with a tournament on October 12.

  • Registration fee: $85.
  • Games are played on Saturdays at Lamp Park, located on the southeast corner of 114th and Dodge St.
  • Flag football practices begins in August and are held at BT one day per week as determined by the coach. Team members are required to be at all practices unless you have prior approval from your coach to miss. Additional practice info will be sent to all families in early August.
  • Jerseys are provided by OSAA and are included with registration. Players must provide their own mouthpiece and cleats. Mouthpieces are required during games.
  • Every student is guaranteed a spot on the team if they register before the deadline.
  • Teams are formed based on the number of registrations received.

Volunteer coaches will determine practice times, and teams may practice 1-2 days a week. The PAL volleyball regular season matches begin on August 22 and end on October 20.

  • Jerseys are provided by BT and are included with registration. Players must provide their own shorts, knee pads, and gym shoes.
