SIX time State Speech champions

Forensics and speech classes prepare students for communication opportunities and experiences through tournaments and contests.  Mrs. Amy Becker, Mr. Chris Hamel, and Mr. Mike Recker work with Middle and Upper School students to practice and perfect their performances.

The Upper School Yakking Raiders speech team has earned six consecutive State Championships — 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 — and has repeated as District Champion for eight years and Conference Champion for more than 10 years.
