This year we are pleased to introduce the 2007-2008 Parent Pride Committee members. Susan Dennis, a Trustee
and parent of Alexandra, grade 10, will serve as the Chair of the Development Committee and oversee all annual
fundraising activities including Parent Pride. General Chairs are Johanne Couture and Daniel Larose, parents
of Caroline ’07, and Erika, grade 10.
Other members of the Committee include Upper School Chairs - Julie Larsen and Chris Vogt, parents of Kallie, grade12;
7/8th Grade Chairs – Beth and Eric Browning, parents of Jeff ‘07, Katie, grade 12, and Christian, grade 7; 5/6th
Grade Chairs – Elaine and Mark Lust, parents of Blythe, grade 5; Lower School Chairs – Suellen and Bill Willett,
parents of Jordan, grade 4 and Debbie and Brian Wood, parents of Colesun, grade 1; and Preschool Chairs – Stacy and
Rick Thompson, parents of Blake, kindergarten.
The Parent Pride Annual Fund Campaign is a yearly appeal for tax-deductible contributions to support the general operating
budget of the School. These donations enhance the day-to-day life of every student and faculty member by supporting educational
programs and materials, faculty salaries, the arts, athletics, and maintenance.
This year the tuition collected by the School covers approximately 87% of the total expenses. The difference between tuition
revenues and the actual cost to educate each student is $1,789 – the “gap.” We hope your family will step up to meet our goal
of $260,000 and 100 percent participation. If you can only make only one contribution to Brownell-Talbot this year, make it
Parent Pride. We are counting on you!
The Parent Pride Annual Fund begins September 4 and concludes October 12. You can mail or bring your pledge envelopes
to School or drop them off at the Parent Teacher Conferences on October 3.
