Our Values: Chapel Program

The Brownell-Talbot Chapel Program is designed to foster spiritual and moral growth of young people.

While the service follows a Judeo-Christian format, many of the sermons focus on teaching young people about other religious beliefs and traditions. It is our belief that young people who know various belief structures are better equipped to live in our multicultural world. The regular habit of the Chapel Program and developing spiritually is integral in their formation.

The Lower School Chapel service regularly gives young people the opportunity to perform musically, as well as learning to read in public. It is a fairly high energy service that is designed to meet the needs of young people of that age.

The Middle and Upper School services are designed to speak to many of the moral and ethical dilemmas students will face as they become adults. Once a month the Middle and Upper School services are combined and student achievements are acknowledged.
